But we haven't done a bloody thing all day. Deb was feeling a bit footsore and didn't want to get out today, plus it's raining. So it was a day in - but we did have a nice mid-afternoon repast. The rest of the albondigas and parsleyed potatoes. A confession is due here, even though we're no longer on vacation (theoretically) our wine consumption seems to belie that notion. We are down to our last 2 and a half bottles. The wine is so inexpensive and so good that we have it at lunch and at dinner, so it just seems to disappear (are you listening?). Tomorrow we have to do a bit of shopping and of course check up on our news from Denver and Spain.
The Catalunyan separatists are really pushing for a vote in their autonomous region on independence, our Spanish instructor doesn't believe it will happen but they seem very determined. Our translation is pretty poor but it seems as if they have alluded to arms, I'm hoping it's just an attempted power grab.
Two heads on the same building one a later addition can you tell which is which?
I think as long as you're not drinking with all meals, you're still fine. :)
ReplyDeleteBesides, as long as you have a house in Denver and aren't working in Spain, you're still officially on vacation.
