November 5th Our market angels

Here is a picture of our first market angel; they are the people that have been taking care of us as we try to get our daily bread.  Especially Ana the lovely young woman who sells us our Spanish cheeses, she has guided us through a virtual tour of Spain in cheese.  Currently we are addicted to the Tetilla and Manchego cheeses.  She has also been so kind in helping us to understand the idioms we can use to order our food.   I will post pictures of our other angels and names in the near future.  So if I say "so and so" gave us something really good you will have a notion of who I’m talking about.

Relative to markets I got a comment from Jose (the owner along with Julia of our apartment) who said that we should be sure to not miss the San Miguel market next to the Plaza Mayor.  Thank you Jose the market San Miguel was on our itinerary for our second or third day and we had a marvelous time.  We have been back a few more times since then and enjoyed it each time.
From our first visit to San Miguel, wine and tapas

Julia suggested the Pan Chapata, and we bought some of that today, so more to come on breads.
